TEENAGERS CANNOT SURVIVE WITHOUT THE INTERNET

Why do you need Facebook, my friend? In today’s world, social networking sites is no longer a luxury, but a necessity for youth from all over the world. Without it, they become dead metaphorically speaking. This is because teenagers need it to gain information, escape reality and contact friends.

Firstly, internet makes the lives of teenager easier due to ease of information. Current school trends requires teenager to do research extensively on their given assignment. Due to time constraint, they would rather rely on the internet to obtain simple and necessary information. Without it, life for teenagers will be rougher.

Secondly, internet gives teenager a path to escape reality. Teenagers cannot be themselves in real life due to fear of being rejected or looked down by current society. However, the internet allow teenager to become extrovert, giving them the chance to express themselves openly without any fear of retaliation. This makes them feel motivated and shared their thoughts and opinion.

Lastly, the internet connects friends and relatives alike. With the internet and social networking site, it allows people to contact one another by leaving post or messages for the user to read regardless of the distance between them.

In summary, teenagers aren’t able to survive without the internet as they will be unable to gain important information, escape the harsh truth of reality as well as stay in contact with friends and family not matter how far apart they may be.
