Teenagers cannot survive without Internet

Are food, water, and air the only things essential for life? No! Internet can be said as the greatest invention in this globalization because teenagers cannot survive without it. People say that Internet is so important to teenagers because of some main causes like unsocialised lifestyle, no information and to escape from the reality.

Teenagers cannot survive without socialization. People say, in this world, we can’t live alone, same to teenagers. They need to be exposed to the outside world by socializing. However, without Internet, there is a limit or boundary for them to make friends. They could only make friends with those near to them, like schoolmates and neighbour. With Internet, they can meet friends from all over the world, with no limitation, as much as they want. When they meet many friends, they may be exposed to many cultures of different countries. This can be considered as one of the main qualifications for teenagers to enter society to work. This may conclude why teenagers cannot survive without Internet.

Besides that, most of the information is spread by Internet nowadays. If Internet does not exist, then teenagers cannot get information they want. Development of a country depends much on teenagers, if they couldn’t gain more knowledge, they can’t get job, or even if they get the job, the productive is almost halt because of lack of knowledge needed in the field. Though we can say that information can also be obtained from books, but in 21^st century, people emphasize much on speed. Books of similar topic are hardly to be found, and much information in books are outdated because of the time taken for printing and publishing.

Lastly, teenagers need Internet to escape from reality. Teenagers nowadays have to face many problems, unlike kids from previous generation. For instant, when teenagers fall in love with someone, which seem so strange and unusual to them, they would not tell their parents, they will express their feeling on Internet, like Facebook, Twitter etc. This may be caused by insufficient education from the family, leading teenagers to have no idea about ‘Love’. Thus, they are trying to escape from the reality through Internet. Online games also enable teenagers not to face the world, but the virtual one which created by themselves.

In conclusion, Internet has become one part of teenagers’ life. Teenagers need it to socialize with the world, to catch up the rapid lifestyle and to live their own lives. Internet is now as important as food, water and air, it is no longer a luxury, because teenagers cannot live without it!
